The Friendly Sons of St. Patrick, San Diego began in 1953 when founder Bill Buckley established the local chapter of this venerable national organization.
As the largest Irish-American club in San Diego County – and as part of one of the oldest organizations in the country – the Friendly Sons recognize our special obligation to honor our Irish heritage and to support the greater San Diego community.
The Friendly Sons social and charitable works promote education and provide funding for Irish cultural events.
We are non-denominational and welcome members with Irish lineage, over 21 years of age, and of good moral character.
The Friendly Sons of St. Patrick, San Diego is the only fraternal organization in town delivering good times with good friends, and all for noble causes.
